Photographing South Wales by Drew Buckley has been published and is now available.
South Wales is the ninth title in our Photographing series where local photographers give an intimate insight to the photographic potential of the area they know best. Following South Wales, to be published early in 2019, is Photographing East Anglia by Justin Minns, and Photographing The Cotswolds by Sarah Goodayle (née Howard).
But our next photo-location guidebook, published before the end of the year, is a little different.
Photographing The Snowdonia Mountains by Nick Livesey
Photographing The Snowdonia Mountains by Nick Livesey is a detailed hill walking guidebook and a photo-location guidebook, all rolled into one volume. Nick has documented the best circular walks for mountain photography in Snowdonia, and the best roadside locations and short walks to photograph the mountains from. Nick’s book is in landscape format and as well as engaging text, walking route descriptions and stunning photography, Don Williams of Bute Cartographics has pulled out the stops and produced beautiful detailed walking maps for each walk.

We need your help
Before Nick’s guidebook goes to print, as well as final layout and proofing, we have one more important job to do and we would like to ask you for your help.
Nick’s book is filled with stunning photographs and we had a short list of potential front covers which we have narrowed down to two.
Cover one is of Castell y Gwynt on Glyder Fach, and cover two is of the Snowdon massif from Bwlch y Marchlyn.

Agree with other comment to put the runner-up on the back cover (but I expect both are included in the book anyway). Looking forward to publish date.

Cover 2 – The smallness of man should never be hidden in scenes of Epic proportions 🙂
Mike Hutchinson
Hi I think the runner on the front.
Liz chapman
Cover 2 just invites you to be up there with the walker looking at that view ,fabulous photo but agree the runner up should be on the back .
Graham Warren
Both great images, I look forward to the release, will definately buy.

Tough choice.
But you do need a hyphen in HILL-WALKING as per PHOTO-LOCATION. Both are compound adjectives qualifying the noun GUIDEBOOK and should be treated in the same way.
So: A PHOTO-LOCATION AND HILL-WALKING GUIDEBOOK
