In something of a departure for fotoVUE, Nick Livesey’s “Photographing the Snowdonia Mountains” is as much a hill walking guidebook as a photo location guide. In my opinion, this works superbly, showcasing Nick’s deep love of the the national park’s mountains as well as his skill as a landscape photographer.

Many of us in the landscape photography community are familiar with Nick’s work and his journey of discovery since moving to North Wales. It’s an uplifting story made all the better by his incredible skill with a camera and his deception in being on the hill all year round, whatever the weather may throw at him.

“Photographing the Snowdonia Mountains” is a triumph for both Nick and fotoVUE and I’m really pleased to have added this volume to my rapidly growing collection from this fantastic publisher.

I am sure the conent of this book is first class, as are the other FotoVUE I have purchased. Had this book been published as the others i.e. in portrait, I would have purchased it. Sadly that is not the case.
