Carsten Krieger

Carsten Krieger is a professional photographer and author based in the West of Ireland. His unique images are highly acclaimed and he is one of Ireland’s most published photographers. His work has appeared in numerous print and online magazines such as Ireland of the Welcomes, Outdoor Photography, Burren Insight, Popular Photography and others. Carsten has also been a contributing writer for dpreview and slrlounge. Although Carsten is mainly known for his landscape work he regularly undertakes commercial assignments that cover a variety of topics from outdoor sports and portraits to architecture/interior and food. His clients include The Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark, Shannon Development, Tourism Ireland/Failte Ireland, The Tree Council of Ireland, The Burren Nature Sanctuary and many others. Carsten has to date published and contributed to ten books, including the highly acclaimed ‘Heritage Trees of Ireland’, ‘Ireland's Coast’ and the bestselling ‘Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way’. He is currently working on several new projects. Carsten is working on two fotoVUE guidebook to the West of Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way titled, Photographing Ireland’s South West and Photographing Ireland’s North West.
